Let's get some shoes.
I never knew how much I loved walking and running until I got back to doing it. I just started doing 3 miles a day and it has really made a difference so far. It clears your head so much and lets you think clearly and explore places you normally wouldn’t due to the high speed we drive. It makes time slow down and helps you reset.
I’m not going to say I’m the world’s best walker or marathon runner (with my flat feet and no arches, I’d probably never make the 26.2 finish line), but I do think it’s a great way to destress. If work is bogging you down, or your relationships are on the fritz, take a walk and breathe some fresh air. This won’t solve your problems, but it may help you regain focus and take a step back so that you can solve the puzzle.
Give it a try today, you won’t regret it.
Here’s a thought I had yesterday from my jog.
Most of my worries
Melt right away
When I lace up
My Chuck Taylors
And walk a mile a day.
…Always write down your thoughts when you walk or run. Creativity can spark at any time.
Cheers,
