Non-Dominant Hands & Comfort Zones

I think it’s so funny when I try to do anything with my left hand. As you can see with the above drawing my left hand penmanship is so awful, it’s almost like I was driving my car over a million potholes while trying to do my kindergarten homework of ABC’s and Shapes drawing. ( or is that how i really draw?)

It’s important to put yourself in different situations in life and see what happens. Try writing with your non-dominant hand a see how bad you write, or wake up earlier and sit in silence. (break the routine) I even once tried to brush my teeth with my left hand, and it is one of the hardest things I have ever done. Staring into the mirror as my awkward left hand goes up and down, up and down like a Giraffe flailing it’s long neck trying to impress its mate on the grassy savannah of the Serengeti. Creativity is an awesome thing that can strike at any time by doing things that are different. It’s always a great idea to have structure and a schedule, but having different perspectives can help you with your relationships, career, and bettering yourself. If you are feeling bored, and in a rut, try doing something different and see what happens. What do you have to lose? Your future self will thank you later.

Cheers,

P.S. I once tried running with two left shoes, it didn’t really work to well. I think I did end up running a 45 minute mile though, which is pretty good… hahahahaahahahah…jk
